Calgary Reads Home Page

Calgary Reads Website Recognized by RGD

We’re thrilled to see our work on the Calgary Reads website redesign recognized by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) as exemplary of accessible, user-focused language, structure, and navigation.

This project was a from-the-ground-up rework of Calgary Reads’ online presence. Our role in this project focussed on three main areas: overall messaging, strategic information hierarchy, and creative copywriting.

First, we worked with Calgary Reads to articulate their messaging and value in a way that motivated the online audience they were trying to reach. Next, we developed an easily navigable site structure that served the needs of the audience first, while also representing the needs of organization.

Finally, we developed a brand voice and tone for Calgary Reads, wrote engaging, audience-appropriate copy for each page of the site, and completed our quality assurance.

GOOD Company was our design and development partner for the project, and they did an amazing job of creating an updated look and feel for the site, and translating our many asks into a cheerful, fun, and easy to navigate site. We’re so proud of our work together, and it’s a great feeling to have that work noticed by experts in the field!
